Intense herbaceous aroma prevailing on fruity notes.
Full-bodied, decided taste, it has a good acidity and is generally low ion alcoholic level.
Typical wine to couple with red grilled or roasted meats.
When lightly aged it matched also feathered game or seasoned cheese.
In Friuli cooking it is often served with salami cooked in pan with onions and vinegar, salmi of hare, stewed boar.
Serve preferably at 18-20°C in wide glasses.
